Yearly check up is very important for your car's long life. Full Car Service might be the most commonly chosen from our offer and there is a reason for it! We will change your oil, filters and more, so your car will be as good as new.

NCT REPAIRS

€80 + VAT per hour

We are able to prepare your car for the NCT, so you can pass it one go. Out complete Pre-NCT check will highlight any areas in need of repair in order to pass the NCT test.

BRAKE SYSTEM REPAIRS (INCLUDING ABS)

€80 + VAT per hour

Brakes, like any other traction based parts, naturally wear down over time. The most common part in need of replacement are brake pads. On average you will need to do so every 80,000 km. Be wary that it heavily depends on where you drive and what type of brakes you use. Using worn down brakes might result in a real threat to your safety.

STEERING AND SUSPENSION SYSTEM REPAIRS

€80 + VAT per hour

Faulty steering may lead to very serious problems on the road. At high speed, faulty steering systems can cause serious accidents. Your steering wheel being too stiff or you feeling hard points in it while driving might be a sign that you need a visit in our workshop.

We recommend to service your car every 10,000km or once a year, whatever comes first to maintain your vehicle's performance and prevent costly issues.

We provide two types of services; a minor service and a full service.

A Minor Service includes changing the oil and replacing the oil filter. As well as a quick check over, bulbs, coolant level etc.

A Full Service includes changing oil, replacing oil filter, air filter, cabin filter and either spark plugs or fuel filter depending if your vehicle is diesel or petrol. It also includes checking fluid levels, coolant levels, screenwash levels. As well as a full vehicle check over, checking brakes, steering, suspension etc. Provided with a vehicle health report.

If your vehicle is blowing air however it is not cold. Most simply the a/c gas will need to be re-filled.

As a general guideline, you should get your a/c serviced once every 3 to 4 years. It is estimated that a car loses about 10% of its a/c gas every year.

Another reason could be that there is a leak in the a/c system. There could be several causes, it could be a faulty a/c condenser, a/c compressor, a/c pipes or a/c pressure switch.

Our mechanic will pressure test the a/c system, if the pressure holds, this usually indicates that there is no leak. There is a possibility that if the hole is microscopically tiny, the pressure test will not indicate a leak. In that case, our a/c machine adds a UV dye into the system that if the gas leaks out in a couple weeks/months. We can detect the hole with a UV light.
